Vega Tenor M Resonator and Clamp

Vintage Vega Banjo Resonator & Attachment 1920s for 10-15/16".  This is an original, old resonator from the Vega Co. of Boston, Mass. It was used on the Vega banjos with various rim diameters. This one will accommodate a rim up to 11" in diameter. The resonator is in very good condition considering its age. This one comes with the original attachment apparatus that fits on the dowel stick. This resonator would be ideal for converting your open back Vega to a resonator to give it more volume. This would be especially useful for a 17-fret banjo that was sold as an open back banjo. These would be used for Irish style playing so the added volume of having a resonator.
