    Description

    New NOS 1939-48 Ford Mercury Flathead Main Bearing Set .002 81A-6331 81A-6333.
    This new old stock Johnson Bronze main bearing set fits 1939 - 1948 Ford and Merc passenger V8, all 90, 95 and 100 hp engines, both 3 1/16" and 3 3/16" bore V8's. Also fits 1939 - 1947 Ford pickup & truck V8, all 90, 95 and 100 HP engines, both 3 1/16" bore and 3 3/16" bore V8's. Includes 1 pair Monmouth and 1 pair Thompson front and center main bearings (equivalent to Ford # 81A-6333), and 1 pair Ford rear main bearing Ford # 81A-6331. .002" u/s ID for a crankshaft with main journals 2.496/2.497" diameter. These N.O.S. flat head bearings are mint and have never been installed. They have some discoloration from long term storage. Two thousandths undersize ID might be just what you need to boost oil pressure in a slightly worn or polished standard main journal crankshaft.
