Antique, v.attractive swirl pattern Opalescent glass chimney shade for oil lamp

Description

On offer here is
a very attractive, antique, milky blue opalescent
glass CHIMNEY
for a kerosene or oil lamp
. I estimate this piece to date to late 19th century as it has been roughly ground on the bottom of the chimney. Under light, or in the sunlight, it picks up slight tinges of light blue milkiness. (see pics 1,2,3 & 6) In shade or indoors the glass seems to show less opalescence and more clear color. (see pics 4 & 5)
The chimney has swirls in the glass and a wavy pattern on the top aperture. (see pics 7 & 8)
Chimney stands about 9" tall and has a bottom diameter of just under 5 1/2" and the top diameter of 3"
